Project PEARLS has been involved in numerous special projects – from bringing relief to typhoon victims to sharing Lego toys and backpacks to children in different communities.
Christmas Toy Drive & Adopt-a-Family Campaigns – Since 2010, it has been an annual tradition in Project PEARLS to share love and smiles to children and families during the Christmas season. Through the generosity of heroes from around the world, we are able to bring thousands of gifts and Noche Buena packs to different communities in the Philippines. We are grateful to our sponsors and donors who make Christmas truly magical for thousands of families!
Cassie’s Bag Of Dreams – In the past 5 years with the help of generous sponsors, over 1660 students from impoverished communities in Lucena, Bulacan, Manila, Zambales, Tondo, Guimaras, Camarines Norte and Siargao have received gifts of hope in the form of high-quality backpacks with school supplies.
Memory Project – “Creating a kinder world through art.” This is the core mission of The Memory Project. Through beautiful and heartfelt portraits, they are able to connect art teachers and students to children living in difficult situations in different parts of the world. These portraits serve as positive and tangible childhood memories for the children. It also breaks the barriers between continents and it shows children that they are valued and cared for, especially in times of crisis and poor living conditions. We are grateful and honored to be chosen as their partner in the Philippines since 2017.
Pop-up BayaniHAN (Bayani for the Homeless, Abandoned, and Neglected) – In 2019, we launched a new program to serve the needs of the homeless in Manila. Guided by our Filipino value of ‘bayanihan’, we gather together different organizations and individuals to provide services such as medical and dental check-ups, grooming (showers and haircut), counseling, clothing and footwear, and job placement assistance. The first Pop-up BayaniHAN was done in partnership with St. Arnold Janssen Kalinga Center on November 30, 2019.
