Every student from Time-to-Learn (pre-school) to College in the communities we serve in the Philippines is eligible to apply for the Project PEARLS Scholarship program.
We aim to help children and families escape poverty through education. Economic challenges often hinder access to learning, so the Scholarship Program offers resources like school supplies, allowances, and other essentials for academic success. Additionally, we foster growth through workshops, mentorship, and tutorials.
The Scholarship Program not only helps the economic burden of their families but more importantly, it gives them hope and inspiration to strive harder and to dream bigger for themselves, their families, and their communities.
SPONSORSHIP COST (per grade level)
- Pre-school / Time-to-Learn Program: PHP 10,000 or USD 200
- Elementary (Kinder – 6th Grade): PHP 15,000 or USD 300
- High School (Grade 7 to Grade 12 or ALS): PHP 20,000 or USD 400
- College (1st Year to 4th Year or 5th/6th Year): PHP 120,000 or USD 2,100
SCHOLARS WILL GET:
PRE-SCHOOL:
- Envelope bag with school supplies (notebooks, crayons, pencils, etc.)
- School Uniform, Project PEARLS Scholar’s T-shirt, Shoes, Socks
- Scholarship Certificate
- Daily Breakfast (Early Childhood Education and Nourishment Program)
- Access to free medical and dental check-ups
GRADE SCHOOL TO HIGH SCHOOL:
- Backpack with all the school supplies required by their class advisor
- School Uniform, Project PEARLS Scholar’s T-shirt, Shoes, Socks
- Vouchers for additional school supplies needed during the school year
- Scholarship Certificate
- Access to Project PEARLS Study Area for laptop use (research, typing) and printing needs
- Mentorship opportunities
- Opportunities for educational field trip, workshop, seminars, training, and other academic events
- Access to free medical and dental check-upa
COLLEGE:
- Paid Tuition for the year
- Support for Miscellaneous fees for the year
- Books, school supplies, laptop (loaned)
- School uniform
- Housing, Transportation and Meals allowance
- Scholarship Certificate
- Opportunities for internships, workshop, seminars, training, and other academic events
- Access to free medical and dental check-ups
SPONSORS WILL GET:
- Donation Invoice (100% of your donation is tax-deductible)
- Certificate of Sponsorship and Certificate of Appreciation from Project PEARLS as a token of our gratitude for your commitment and support
- Quarterly (for TTL/Grade School/High School) and semestral updates of scholar through an email update with their report card / report of grades, messages of gratitude and school/life updates attached.
- Opportunity to write/email and build a mentoring relationship with the scholar
- Opportunity to build a partnership with Project PEARLS, meet a network of people from different backgrounds, and work together on other advocacies such as our programs on nutrition, healthcare and empowerment.
* Early Childhood Education and Nutrition Program
Provides a nutritious breakfast to Pre-school scholars who may otherwise skip breakfast, not as a choice but a necessity their family cannot provide.
