Bayanihan is the Filipino spirit of neighbours stepping forward together. When a fire, flood, eruption or typhoon upends a community, Project PEARLS brings practical relief with care and dignity.
SUPPORT RELIEF WORK
The work
Project PEARLS is not an emergency-relief organization alone, but when communities are in crisis, the organization answers alongside local leaders, partners and volunteers. Food, hygiene supplies, survival kits, school essentials and hands-on support help families take the next step forward.
Every response is grounded in the same belief: a family facing disaster deserves practical help, respect and the reminder that they are not alone.
Bayanihan para sa Bohol
From March 13 to 15, Project PEARLS served children and youth in Bohol through the shared work of supporters, volunteers and community partners.
Bayanihan para sa Taal
After the 2020 eruption displaced families in nearby towns, Project PEARLS joined Art Relief Mobile Kitchen to cook and serve hot meals in Cavite. The team also supported a school and church cleanup in San Nicolas, Batangas, and provided survival backpacks, meals and gifts for students, teachers and older residents.
Tondo fire relief
After the April 2020 fire in Temporary Housing, Tondo left around 4,000 people without homes, Project PEARLS and its partners provided survival, dignity, baby and hygiene kits along with hot meals for 400 families.
Typhoon relief
When Typhoons Goni and Vamco caused widespread flooding and displacement in Luzon, supporters stepped forward to help families recover with the basic care needed to rebuild hope and daily life.
