Project Pearls After School Program

It’s a Sunday morning filled with smiles, bonding, learning and happiness inside our courtyard in Tondo, Manila!
After School Program Coordinator Jedda Punzalan led a brief orientation explaining the program and guidelines for our volunteers.
Everyone, including our feeding sponsors was also warm welcomed for today!
Kids then entered the courtyard for the feeding.
Before eating, we had some dance time to light up everyone’s spirit.
And then everybody greeted our cute birthday boy for today. Happy happy birthday Malhar Kailas Thubi! We thank you and your family for joining us this morning. Thank you for sponsoring this day’s feeding.
We also greeted Ate Mielle Delos Santos! Together with her family, they joined today’s feeding and ASP. They also donated some school supplies and art materials for the kids. Thank you!

Our scholars and and other kids that wanted to join ASP remained in the courtyard after the feeding.
Today marked Lesson 1 for English Kids were grouped according to their current grade level. Volunteer-teachers were then assigned to teach per grade level group- from Kinder to Grade 10. Reference books and school supplies were also distributed.
Now for teaching time!
It was an hour of new lessons learned. Thank you so much to all volunteers for today and also to our feeding sponsor!
