“One of the most amazing things about Mathematics is the people who do Math aren’t usually interested in application, because Mathematics itself is truly a beautiful art form. It’s structures and patterns, and that’s what we love.” —Danica McKellar
One week to go and our scholars will finally have their Post-test in Math.
Hopefully, they can all pass the exam proving that somehow we are helping them with their academic subjects through this After School Program.
Learning Math can really be a tough one to most of us, and to teach this subject also. But then through fun learning, building rapport with our students and showing dedication, somehow, we can all still enjoy this subject.
Shout out to all our volunteers who taught and continuously coming back just to share some time and knowledge with the kids! Kudos everyone!
Aside from our scholars’ school subjects, we also aimed to teach them moral values that they can bring all through their life. Simple things like saying “Thank You” whenever they receive any favors or gifts from someone – doing this as a habit can already have a huge impact for them.
And we will never stop doing all the best that we could to let these hopeful youths step out of poverty and have a better life the soonest someday!
Thank you so much LBC Foundation for sponsoring today’s feeding and for volunteering with us. Thank you also for staying longer just to teach our Scholars for today’s Math lesson!
