The kids from Project PEARLS created beautiful Christmas ornaments for their Brain Booster activity!
The children gathered last week to make ornaments inspired by Christmas elements like reindeer, Santa hats, and their favorite animals. They used old cardboard and colored paper to bring their beloved ornaments to life!
Ferdilyn, a Brain Booster participant since 2020, shared how she realized her potential in art through the activity.
With her widest grin, Ferdilyn shared, “Hindi ko akalain na ang simpleng karton ay maaari po palang maging maganda at makulay na dekorasyon. Masaya po ako kasi natulungan ko ang kalikasan at naging malikhain din ako.” (I never thought that a simple cardboard could become a beautiful decoration. I am very happy because I helped the environment while being creative.)
Proudly, they decorated their community Christmas tree with various ornaments. Art activities as a group promote cooperation, innovative thinking, and enhance problem-solving skills. Their obra maestras surely lift the spirits of their community!
