Julia Barretto Spreads Holiday Cheer W/ Early Christmas Treat for 500 Scholars
JULIA BARRETTO – Actress Julia Barretto spread holiday cheer by organizing an early Christmas treat for 500 scholars, bringing smiles and warmth to the children’s faces.
Christmas is a time of joy, love, and gratitude. It is a season that brings people together to celebrate with family, friends and loved ones, offering a moment to reflect on the deeper meaning of the holiday—compassion, giving, and connection. Sharing messages, gifts, and acts of kindness fosters a warm and festive atmosphere, uniting communities and spreading happiness.
This Christmas, Julia Barretto embodied the spirit of giving as she hosted a charity event for around 500 scholars at the Project Pearls Learning Center in Bocaue, Bulacan. The event, held on a joyful Monday morning, was filled with fun games, interactive activities, and heartfelt gift-giving.
“This is my first on-ground event. But I had been a silent supporter. I learned and had been following them since the pandemic. The impact and work they do is amazing. I feel so blessed to be part of it,” Barretto shared in an interview after the event.
Barretto expressed that the event served as her way of giving back and showing gratitude for a rewarding and successful year.
“It is my way of giving back. I had been so blessed and I am just too grateful,” she added.
For Barretto, the meaningful moments spent with the children were a source of joy and a chance to recharge before resuming her busy schedule. Her upcoming project, “Hold Me Close,” is set to premiere on Christmas Day, alongside her promotion for the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
“I really love children. I enjoyed. This is such a blessing,” Barretto explained.
