We carried out our monthly feeding initiative for the homeless across Manila, a heartfelt effort made possible by our generous sponsors, The City Eats and Europamundo. With their ongoing support, we served a comforting meal of pork adobo and rice wrapped thoughtfully in banana leaves, complemented by fresh bananas. This approach not only provides nourishment but also reflects our commitment to minimizing waste and being mindful of our impact on the environment.
In addition to the meal service, Darelle, one of our dedicated scholars, led a Literacy on the Go session, where she and a volunteer connected with participants through engaging storytelling and an art activity that encouraged creativity. To further support those in need, Coleen, one of our regular volunteers, generously donated toiletries, which she distributed at our Post Office pitstop, bringing an extra layer of care to our outreach efforts.
