Last Saturday, our PEARLS scholars joined in celebrating World Animal Day and World Pet’s Day! In the Brain Booster program, they crafted paper plate masks of their favorite animals and pets.
One of the kids who showed her creativity is Magdalene! She is a Grade 1 scholar in Bulacan. She chose a pig as her mask because it is a very common animal in their community.
This kind of celebration, where volunteer teachers and mentors advocate the importance of respect and care for the animals around us, is truly heartwarming. A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers who joined and came to change the lives of these young children through the Brain Booster Program!
