Today, we celebrate the International Day of the Girl!
Our incredible PEARLS scholars and LitClub members came together to honor the International Day of the Girl with the theme ‘Batang Babae Ako, Lider Ako’ (I am a girl, I am a leader). They highlighted their leadership abilities and showcased their creativity by crafting inspiring slogans and posters around this theme. One that truly resonated with us is, “Huwag maliitin dahil ang lakas ko’y sing lakas ng kalalakihan, kaya kong mamuno sa sarili kong bayan”—a powerful reminder of the strength within us all.
We are happy to see our incredible PEARLS scholars, both girls and boys, who joined us in this celebration!
Let’s continue uplifting and embracing the potential and power of girlhood. Let’s join hands in creating a world where every young girl feels encouraged to lead, inspire, and shape a better future for all!
