During last Saturday’s homeless feeding event, in partnership with The City Eats and Europamundo Foundation, Lola mentioned that she recognized us from the Bayanihan Care Village where she had received a medical check-up, medicines, vitamins, and more.
She also expressed her continued happiness about being able to take a shower and receiving a set of new towels. But what truly matters, she said, “is how we made her feel.”
It’s essential to understand that the Bayanihan for Manila’s Homeless Program, made possible through collaboration with these partners, goes far beyond providing a simple box of food.
