A Volunteer’s Testimonial:
Samantha Jade and Mark Neil.
I first met these two kids last year while volunteering for Project PEARLS’ After School Program. During that Sunday when we were teaching Math, I can remember clearly how these two were very excited to learn. They listened well and participated actively in the activities. Now, they are in Grade 4 and still very much eager to learn.
I started volunteering last year and still continue to volunteer now in the hopes of somehow making a difference in these children’s lives. However, it seems to be the other way around. I am very happy and grateful to say that these kids are actually the ones making a difference in my life.
