Today, we celebrated something special in our Hunger Relief in Batia, Bulacan — the birthday of one of our longest advocates from the US, Harry Eng. On his birthday, our community volunteers gave out heartwarming meals of veggie pancit, rice, fried spring rolls, and bananas to over 100 children. They also received cartons of milk from our partner, RFM. While in Naic, Cavite, 50 children had complete meals of sauteed string beans topped with tuna flakes, rice, hard-boiled eggs, and bananas.
Thank you so much, Harry, Mailou, and Cassie Eng for gracing our feeding in Bulacan today. You didn’t just fill hundreds of bowls, but you also filled hundreds of hearts today.We are also grateful to our partners, RFM Corporation and Century Pacific Food, Inc., for ensuring that we will serve healthy and delicious meals in today’s feeding by donating cartons of milk and cans of tuna.
