Food is a basic necessity and a human right. However, poverty incapacitates people to access and secure it. Our Hunger Relief Program addresses these problems by providing healthy breakfast meals to children and families in the communities we serve.
Today, our community volunteers in Helping Land, Tondo prepared and served over 300 hearty meals of sauteed mung beans topped with pork, rice, tuna meatballs, and bananas. Cartons of milk were also given out to everyone.
We are grateful to our partners, Century Pacific Food, Inc. for donating cans of tuna; and RFM Corporation for the cartons of milk. Your kindness and generosity truly saved hundreds of lives this morning.Through your help, we can achieve hunger-less days for hundreds of children and families in our communities!
