New friendships and partnership were established in today’s Hunger Relief Program in Helping Land, Tondo. Through the generous aid of Cushman & Wakefield, we were able to deliver food assistance to hundreds of children and families.
We served them delicious and jam-packed meals of fried fish, chop suey, chicken afritada, rice, hard-boiled eggs, bananas, and ripe papaya. We also welcomed back our Founder, Melissa Villa, who volunteered in the feeding.
This morning, we also had our PEARLS Brigada where volunteers helped clean up the PEARLS Courtyard in preparation for the re-opening of our Toy Library and face-to-face Time-to-Learn Program.
