Meet Bong, Grade 4 PEARLS scholar. When we met him almost five years ago, Bong was very withdrawn because of his physical disabilities. His parents prevented him from attending school for fear that he may only be bullied.
Bong was 9 years old when we enrolled him as kindergarten at our PEARLS Learning Center in Ulingan. At 13 now, Bong is turning to be a confident and smart young man. And Bong is still one of our sweetest PEARLS sons.
The gifts of compassion and education give Bong the moral boost he needs in life. We are so proud of and love this boy!
