Last September 25, our family was awarded as the Global Pinoy Family Awardee by the Jollibee Family Values Awards. On top of it was the Special Citation for Education, an award bestowed to the family who upholds and commits themselves in the value of educating the underprivileged.
With over 1,700 valid nominations across the globe, our heart is filled with so much gratitude. As what we always say, we are doing this mission without expecting anything in return, for we believe that helping others is more of a responsibility than a privilege.
These awards are dedicated to our PEARLS children, who are our inspiration in continuing our humble mission. Thank you to the volunteers who dedicate their time, effort, and resources as we keep this mission alive. Thank you to all the people who in one way or another, are helping us in this hard but fulfilling journey.
With or without any awards or trophies; with heels or rain boots; our PEARLS mission will remain the same – to help the poorest of the poor children have a better life by giving them PEARLS – Peace, Education, Aspiration, Respect, Love, and Smiles.
