The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a devastating toll on the communities we serve. But it is children and their families who are being hit hardest by the economic crisis caused by the pandemic. Through our sponsor, ADM, we shed light and hope on these families by sharing meals to their tables this morning.
Our community volunteers in Helping Land, Tondo, gave out hearty morning meals of chicken curry, rice, and watermelon. While in Batia, Bulacan, families received healthy breakfast meals of sauteed mung beans topped with tofu, rice, hard-boiled eggs, and bananas. Bowls of families in Naic, Cavite was filled with comforting meals of chicken curry, rice, and bananas.
