Project PEARLS celebrated #WorldReadAloudDay in our communities in Tondo, Bulacan, and Zamboanga Sibugay on February 2, 2022.
World Read Aloud Day motivates children to celebrate the power of reading aloud to create community and amplify new stories, and advocate for literacy as a foundational human right. World Read Aloud Day is a global movement to honor the joy and power of reading and sharing stories, and continue expanding the definition and scope of global literacy.
We, at Project PEARLS, together with LitWorld, believe in the power of reading and telling stories. When we read together, we change the world – one story at a time.
