The COVID-19 pandemic continues to take its toll on vulnerable sectors of society, with hunger and poverty worsening due to the lack of resources and available jobs & opportunities. Many families in our communities only rely on our Hunger Relief Program to help them go by every day. Through the efforts of our sponsor for today, Majorel, we were able to extend support to hundreds of homes this morning.
Over 500 families in Naic, Cavite received heartwarming breakfast meals of sauteed string beans & squash topped with pork, rice, hard-boiled eggs, and watermelon. While in Batia, Bulacan, 600 comforting breakfast meals of sauteed cabbage, rice, hard-boiled eggs, and bananas were served by our community volunteers.
