This International Women’s Day, PEARLS kids took part in a special Brain Booster activity titled “Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, Patunayan Portrait” to honor the incredible women who shape their lives and communities. Many children created heartfelt portraits of women who nurture and inspire them every day. One of our scholars, Kersha, chose to draw her big sister. Kersha deeply admires her sister for her perseverance and academic excellence despite life’s challenges.
Through their artwork, the children beautifully illustrated the vital role of women in their communities. These women are more than caregivers but also powerful role models who prove that gender does not define a person’s capabilities.
