Heartfelt thanks to The City Eats for providing 500 binalot meals of rice with mackerel balls in sweet and sour sauce, hard-boiled eggs, and bananas. To make the day extra special, gifts were distributed to homeless children and families.
We also extend our gratitude to our community members and volunteers for joining us in distributing food for the homeless families in the National Library of the Philippines and Liwasang Bonifacio, in front of the Manila Post Office.
As we celebrate the holidays, let us be the change we wish to see in this world. We must extend ourselves to our poor and most vulnerable brothers and stand with them in advocating for adequate housing and pro-people development.
