As part of our Brain Booster Program in celebration of “Buwan ng Wika,” the kids explored the rich symbolism of the Philippine flag!
They poured creativity into crafting their own flag while learning the deeper meaning behind its design. This activity helped them understand the national symbols while celebrating their heritage.
Paul Jake, a Grade 6 student, shared his excitement: “I’ve been attending Brain Booster sessions for almost 2 years now, along with my friend. I’m really happy because every Saturday, there’s always a new activity that helps us further develop our hidden talents in the arts. Thank you, Project PEARLS, for providing this activity that we can participate in!”
It was a day filled with creativity and pride as the kids embraced their identity as young Filipinos. Great work, kids and what a meaningful way to conclude “Buwan ng Wika!”
