A Journey of Perseverance and Inspiration with Princess!
Princess’s story is one of determination, resilience, and inspiration. From her early days as a volunteer and LitClub mentor in 2015, to becoming a Project PEARLS scholar in 2021, Princess has always been driven by a passion to make a positive impact. Today, we celebrate her incredible achievement of graduating from college and reaching her dream of passing the Board Exam for Medical Technologists.
As a LitClub mentor and a dedicated volunteer in our education and hunger relief programs, she has been a guiding light for other students and youth who share the same dream. Her dedication, hard work, and compassionate spirit is indeed inspiring, showing us all that with passion and perseverance, anything is possible.
In her own words:
“Project PEARLS has truly been a lifeline for me, helping me chase my dreams and shape my future. Their support has gone far beyond financial help—they’ve been a source of my inspiration. I remember when I became a mentor for LitClub, I saw our members improving and thriving with each lesson. I realized that to support them better, I needed to keep growing and learning. I thought they would be inspired by me, but it turns out I’m the one who’s inspired by them. Their progress and enthusiasm became my own source of inspiration. This experience has deeply impacted my life, making me more dedicated and passionate to study hard.
To my fellow scholars, sometimes you might feel tired, unsure, or like you’re not doing enough. That’s okay. Take a break if you need to, but don’t give up. Don’t let the day end without doing something related to your goal. Even if it’s just a small step, it’s still progress toward everything you dream of. Stay determined, and continue striving, because every step forward brings you closer to everything you aspire to achieve.”
Princess, you are truly one of our shining examples of what it means to be a scholar, a mentor, and a leader. Your transformational journey inspires us all to keep moving forward, in the face of challenges in life.
