“School Break” After School Program

During the school break, we ensured that kids in our communities in Bulacan, Cavite, and Tondo were engaged in various activities to make their summer both fun and educational. We organized different lessons, board games that enhance critical thinking, and more. We’re delighted that so many children enjoyed these learning experiences.

Gian Mae Gatche, a Grade 11 student and ASP mentor, shared her enjoyable experience of being a mentor with us:

“I feel excited before teaching because I used to be the one being taught, and now I get to teach the kids. It makes me happy and reminds me of the times I struggled to keep up with classmates who learned to read quickly. I realized that this is what my teachers at ASP experienced. Teaching requires a lot of patience, especially since some students don’t listen. Nonetheless, I’m grateful to Project Pearls for giving me the chance to give back and share what I’ve learned”
