This school break, our PEARLS scholars from Tondo are making the most of their days by participating in our after-school program focused on board games and various group dynamics activities. Through these activities, they are learning valuable skills like teamwork and strategy while having fun with fellow scholars.
Meet Kate, a 15-Year-Old Grade 11 ASP Mentor “Since my first day as an ASP Mentor, I’ve faced challenges that tested my patience and willingness to assist others. Nevertheless, I’m delighted that my fellow scholars have grasped the lessons I’ve taught. It has made me realize how fortunate some young people are to have early access to education and support.
We’re also pleased that we’re learning about the importance of communication, social skills, and teamwork through different board games we play during our school breaks.”
