“We shape a better world.” This is ARUP’s mission statement. And true to their mission, ARUP partnered with us to provide an opportunity for our scholars to expand their perspectives and inspire them to dream bigger.
Last Thursday, 30 PEARLS scholars had the chance to visit the stunning office of ARUP in Ortigas. Here, the scholars got to meet engineers, architects, environmental and social planners, and other ARUP professionals who inspired them to pursue a career path in this industry. The scholars also showed their creativity and teamwork by building Lego pieces that show what peace means to them.
Our GROW women artisans also showcased their products and led a workshop on macramé for the employees of ARUP. It was truly an engaging and inspiring day!
