Tropical Storm Nalgae (Paeng) hit Metro Manila yesterday causing heavy rains and flooding in many areas. Despite this, our volunteers and staff continued to be of service as we knew that this is the time that our unhoused friends need our help the most.
We distributed hot and hearty meals of rice, chicken adobo, bananas, and biscuits to hundreds of children and families living on the streets of Manila. We thank our partner, The City Eats, for making the BayaniHAN (Bayani for the Homeless, Abandoned, and Neglected) program possible!
And thank you to our volunteers for always going above and beyond!
We also need hygiene kits and Covid-19 essentials (such as face masks, soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mosquito repellent, etc.).
