Saving lives doesn’t always require great heroic acts. It can be as simple as sharing meals with those in need just like what our sponsors did today in Helping Land, Tondo.
Today’s Hunger Relief Program is in honor of the Philippine-American Educational Foundation through the Fulbright Hays Fellows. Over 500 children and families received comforting and filling morning meals of sweet and sour pork rice, fried chorizo patties, and bananas.
We are grateful to the Philippine-American Educational Foundation, especially to Milagros Tan and Lovely Serrano, and to the Fulbright Hays Fellows! And special thanks to Bruce Schulman for organizing this fundraising and for advocating for our mission!
