Over 300 children and families were in high spirits as they went to our courtyard in Helping Land, Tondo this morning. They were given hearty and comforting breakfast meals of sauteed chayote topped with tuna flakes in coconut milk, rice, fried shumai, and bananas. Delightful Selecta ice cream were also handed out to everyone.
A lot of families in Helping Land are still struggling in providing food on their tables. That is why we are really grateful to our sponsor, Aaron Aldrin Borja, who chose to celebrate his special day with us. Happy Birthday and thank you for being an instrument of light and hope to the most vulnerable during this time of crisis.
