Our communities were able to get their healthy breakfast meals thanks to all our heroes who created their Facebook fundraisers just to help us with our mission. With the collective efforts of our volunteers, we catered to 1,800 families experiencing hunger.
In Helping Land, Tondo, the community started their day with hot bowls of pork sinigang, rice, and pineapple. Margarine and mayonnaise from Rise Against Hunger PH were also distributed. In Batia, Bulacan, volunteers prepared scrumptious pork menudo, rice, and bananas. And in Naic, Cavite, nutritious sautèed Baguio beans with pork, rice, hard-boiled eggs, and bananas were served. Again, thank you so much, Facebook Fundraiser Heroes, for reaching out and extending your kindness to hundreds of families in poverty.
