“Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful.”
— Norman Vincent Peale
Christmas is really here!
And once again, our kids in Helping Land, Tondo, Manila had a creative Saturday! Children were able to make Christmas decors out of recycled pet bottles.
To start the day, we feed their hungry tummies first.
After the feeding, we then proceeded with this day’s Brain Booster activity.
Kids were taught how to make Christmas decors using recycled materials. Empty PET bottles were cut in half and then shaped like a flower. The kids finished it by painting the bottles their desired colors and designs.
Here are the results!
The decors they made will be put on our Christmas Tree which is also will be coming from scrap materials.
We would like to thank our feeding and Brain Booster sponsor for today and they are the people from Alexander Mans Solution. Thank you so much for your continued support with our mission!
And thank you to all our volunteers for today!
See you for another creative Saturday next week!
And since Christmas is really fast approaching, we are inviting everyone to be a hero for the children and families living in poverty.
For only 20$ or Php1,000.00 a family with six to eight members can have a Christmas Dinner pack and gifts for the children.
