And we are on our third lesson for English!
Every week, we make sure that PEARLS children– scholars and non-scholars– are learning well from us. We want to ensure that we are helping them improve their academic knowledge.
Before our learning session begins, feeding comes first so they can have enough energy to enjoy and understand this day’s lesson.
After the feeding, kids who wanted to join our ASP, fell in line again outside the courtyard while the volunteers clear the area and prepare the learning materials.
Volunteer-teachers are then divided per grade level and have a chance to review the day’s lesson for their assigned scholars.
Kids re-entered the courtyard for an hour of learning!
