For this weekend outreach in Tondo, Manila, we had a back to back feeding sponsor! Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Megawide Foundation! Aside from sponsoring, they also joined us to volunteer for our Saturday and Sunday feeding.
Saturday Feeding and Brain Booster. (December 1, 2018)
This day’s Brain Booster activity was creating Creating Christmas Decors using old cartons and strings. Today’s activity taught the kids how to be resourceful and imaginative in making Christmas ornaments!
But before we proceeded with our weekly Art Time, the kids had their feeding first.
And then was followed by a Magic and Puppet Show sponsored as well with Megawide Foundation!
The kids surely enjoyed this show! It can be reflected on their faces.
We finally began our Brain Booster. Ate Monica lead today’s activity. She briefly discussed how the kids will do the Christmas decors.
Art supplies and recycled materials like scrap cartons and yarns were then distributed.
After a short while, different, wonderful and colorful ornaments made by the kids filled our courtyard.

Sunday Feeding and After School Program. (December 2, 2018)
For our sponsor’s Day Two at Helping Land, Tondo, Megawide Foundation scholars taught our PEARLS Scholars!
Preparing of food and then feeding of children came first of course! We have to fill their tummies before we fill their minds.
And then we finally we proceeded with the teaching proper.
Thank you to all the scholars of Megawide Foundation for volunteering today as teachers for our PEARLS scholars!
