One of Project PEARLS’ major programs is an education scholarship for children living in extreme poverty. The family of the children we work with cannot support them academically. Often, these families cannot afford to feed their children everyday.
That’s why we are here! We provide the kids with a daily feeding and the gift of education.
Why? Simply because we believe that in the end, once they got their diplomas, their lives will change for the better good. They can have a clearer path away from poverty.
On June 3, 2017 we hosted a Project PEARLS Scholarship Awards Ceremonies for over 300 scholars from preschool to college in Batia, Bulacan. School bags and supplies were distributed right after the feeding activity. We also awarded the scholars with certificates
Then on June 4, 2017, we had the same activity in Helping Land, Tondo, Manila. In Helping Land, 200 kids are the beneficiaries of our Scholarship Program.
Thank you to everyone who gave our scholars the priceless Gift of Education! They are very grateful and excited for school!
