Project PEARLS had been recently featured at the ABS-CBN News and Public Affairs Show “Tapatan ni Tunying” on September 16, 2016.
The episode showed the growing problem of malnutrition in the Philippines and how the children from Helping Land had been experiencing these kinds of problems. Our volunteer nurse, Nurse Em, one of our mother volunteers from the community, Nanay Maricris and Kuya Juan, the one leading our outreach programs were all interviewed regarding issues of malnutrition and poverty in the community.
