“There should be no such thing as boring Mathematics”
~Edsger Dijkstra
For this day, it was Math time!
Volunteers prepared first the food for kids.
While some volunteers prepared the learning materials needed for this day such as lesson plans, modules, pencils, colors, etc.
When they were all done, a brief orientation was then held.
This orientation with the volunteers also included some of our scholars who are in the higher school level. They will once again teach and handle younger kids.
Almost 300 kids then entered the courtyard that actively sang and danced together with the volunteers.
Feeding activity was then followed. We would like to say thank you to Mister Dennis David for being our food sponsor for this day.
God bless you!
After the feeding was the teaching proper.
Our lesson for this day was all about Math!
This may be a hard subject for most of us but our kids enjoyed it well.
A big thanks to the big effort of our ever hardworking volunteer-teachers!
Just like Math, we may experience difficulty in life but at the end of the day, we still enjoy it and we continue to live happy.
We in Project Pearls crazily dream to end poverty, no more child hunger, no more child labor, no more out of school youth.
Yes, these are all a hard vision.
But at the very least, we can do something even though one step at a time.
Join us on our “a bit hard” mission but totally enjoying it.
Volunteer. Advocate. Love. Share.
When? The time is NOW.
