“A Silhouette Art”
Our PEARLS kids in Helping Land experienced a very creative Saturday morning!
Volunteers prepared the food for the children first while the other volunteers prepared the art materials that will be needed for today’s activity.
300 kids then entered the courtyard and our first activity was the feeding.
When the feeding was done, Ate Christine – our Brain Booster coordinator, explained what we are going to do.
Kids who are in third grade and below had a coloring artwork of animals that can be found in the wild.
And then older kids created silhouette art or shadowy effects of different animals.
They used water color and black art papers.
We do have many artists in the making!
Our courtyard was filled with black and different bright colors in contrast and it looked so wonderful!
This just defines that there will always be some good things in darkness. We may encounter different problems in life but still life is just too beautiful so we continue to live on!
Thank you to our food sponsor, Ernie Gatdula and Christopher Valentin for the yumburgers! 😊
And thank you, volunteers!
These children may live on slums and on the bottom of poverty but still there’s hope that someday they will all gonna make it to the top!
Let’s help them. Support a scholar now or sponsor a feeding and be a blessing to others. Be that wonderful and bright colors to their lives.
Change a life. Change yours.
