It was another fun Sunday morning in Helping Land!
To start our day, volunteers prepared the food for our PEARLS kids.
When the food were already good to serve to the hundreds of kids, volunteers then had a brief orientation of what will happen or what are the activities for this day.
Children then entered the courtyard.
After a short prayer then followed by sing and dance, kids were then ready to eat.
Volunteers assisted them.

After the feeding, both the kids and volunteers then prepared for the examination of English subject of our scholars.
This pre-test will help us in measuring their current knowledge about the subject and their reading comprehension.
Some of our scholars on the eight grade and above also assisted the younger kids.
It’s a nice view seeing our scholars handling kids and acting like teachers.
We have teachers in the making!
And then next week will be the start of our teaching proper using lesson plan or module.
We aim to help our Project Pearls scholars raise their academic grades and encourage them to finish their studies and reach their dreams.
