Describing one’s life outside the box…
How can a box represent our own personalities? The thoughts and feelings on the inside can be mysterious and secret, or open and revealed, or some combination of both. The outside is what everyone sees.
Today, we encouraged self-reflection through art, creating a self-portrait box.
Using rhythmic lines and shapes, the LitClub boys and girls drew on all sides of the box, symbols which they think best describe them.
Words were handwritten , cut out and glued to the box. After unfolding and assembling the box, they added materials which they feel represents their internal world to the interior.
