The PEARLS Story of Rose, Rosa, Rosiel:Three months ago, we were so heartbroken and in panic about these beautiful and very fragile triplets.
Rose, Rosa and Rosiel were born on October 22nd into extreme poverty at Helping Land, one of the poorest and dirtiest slum communities in Manila. Born with blood infection and under 2 kilos each only, the triplets were fighting for their dearest lives because of severe malnutrition and dehydration.
But Rose, Rosa and Rosiel are helpless but not hopeless. We want to give each one a fighting chance to live, to be here for their first Christmas and many more Christmas. We want to give them PEARLS – Peace, Education, Aspiration, Respect, Love, Smiles not just today or until they got out of the hospital but until they can give PEARLS back to people around them.
Not only they survived their first Christmas but they are much healthier now! And together with their family, we are very grateful to all who have been supporting our PEARLS mission to give the poorest a better (and healthier) life!
